Green future of construction industry arrives in Belgrade on 24 November 2011
The 1st International GreenBuild Conference, a gathering place of business leaders and creative visionaries, will be held on 24 November 2011 at Tulip Inn Putnik hotel in Belgrade. Organizers of this conference, Ecoist and the National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED), announce exciting and dynamic presentations of the world's best practices in the sector that is undoubtedly becoming dominant in Serbia as well - the green sector.
The 1st International GreenBuild Conference 2011 is an event that will gather business leaders and innovators, environmental experts and key decision-makers in the government sector in order to spark a synergy necessary for quicker development of green city planning in Serbia. This conference was also announced last week in the EU Parliament, on the occasion of the SEEFED event in Brussels, and it was presented to numerous guests from southeast and western Europe.
The conference will be opened by Laurent Louis Stokvis, ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Belgrade, while the experience in successful implementation of green building projects will be shared by the following acknowledged experts: Bojan Kovacic, deputy director of the Agency for Energy Efficiency of the Republic of Serbia; Hans Buster, founder and director of the company Vitaverde,
Greece's leading designer of integrated natural systems, green roofs and vertical gardens; Binny S. Prabhakar,
expert at Holland's Ecofys with an experience in running projects worth up to USD 10 billion; Mark Gero, member of the Managing Board of the Croatian Green Building Council; and many others.
