Delta Agrar’s new investments total EUR 7,8 mil – September 17 to see new cold storage in Celarev and new line for short pasta in Danubius plant

September 17, Delta Agrar will officially put into operation the second ULO cold storage with the capacity of 6.500 tons in orchard in Celarevo. Apart from that, the company announced the beginning of the work of new line for production of short pasta at Novi Sad-based plant Danubius.

With the new cold storage the total storage capacity at Podunavlje farm will reach 13.000 t. ULO (Ultra Low Oxygen) is the most modern system for apple freshness maintenance up to 300 days. Delta Agrar poured EUR 6 mil in the construction of the second cold storage.

When it comes to Danubius plant, a new, modern line will enable the plant to offer consumers a domestic product which is of equal quality as products of the most famous world brands. The investment totals EUR 1,8m.
