Serbian businessmen talk with representatives of French market chain Auchan

State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign and Domestic Trade and Telecommunications Stevan Nikcevic led a group of businessmen from 32 companies from Serbia that talked with the representatives of French market chain Auchan in Kiev about the possibility of including Serbian food and home cleaning products in the offer of Auchan markets in CEE countries.

Representatives of 32 local companies engaged in the production of agricultural, food, confectionery and home cleaning products presented their product portfolios and prices at the Auchan headquarters for Central and East Europe.

The visit of the delegation of Serbian businessmen to the Auchan headquarters for Central and East Europe in Kiev is a result of an agreement that Ljajic reached with the management of that company in Belgrade in June.

Auchan is the second largest retail chain in France and the tenth biggest in the world with an annual revenue of EUR 47 billion and over 300,000 employees.

This company, which operates in 12 countries in western, central and eastern Europe and Asia, offers 50,000 different articles and has agreements with 1,500 suppliers.
