The spatial-functional unit E2 is meant for the realization of the accompanying accommodation capacities for the needs of the participants in the specialized exhibition, within the residential complex on the cadaster parcels 4721/23, 4721/24, 4721/25, 4721/26, 4721/27, 4721/28, 5399, in the cadaster municipality of Surcin.
The facilities have a residential and residential-office purpose with outlets on the ground floor, says the specification of the job. A total of 1,500 housing units have been designed for the complex, with structures ranging from single-room to three-and-a-half-room apartments. From the first to the seventh floor (not counting the ground floor), all the units are designed as residential units. Beneath the ground floor is one garage level.
The ground floors of the units are accessed from the square and each unit has a reception space.
The project needs to envisage of all the necessary equipment and furniture needed for people’s stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, household appliances, curtains, carpets, interior lighting, as well as small inventory and side inventory such as bed sheets, towels etc.
The living room equipment entails seating furniture (sectional sofas, three-seat and two-seat sofas and armchairs, depending on the size of the apartment, that is, the number of users), TV shelves and TV sets.
The dining rooms should have dining tables and chairs, the entrance rooms should feature mirrors and cabinets with sections for shoes, the living rooms should feature one or two beds for one person, depending on the size of the room, as well as mirrors, cupboards and night-stands.
In the bathrooms, there should be mirrors with cabinets for cosmetics and secondary lighting (interior). Each balcony should have a table with two chairs.
The entrance room cabinets should be built from enriched plywood and MDF-board fronts and designed to order, with in-apartment central heating and switchboard cabinets inside.
Cabinets made from the same material are planned in the bedrooms, and the number of doors, the placement of the shelves and even the poles with hangers, need to be planned.
The kitchens are to have lower and hanging elements made from enriched plywood and MDF-board fronts, which will have lighting for countertops on the lower side. When it comes to household appliances, the bathrooms in the apartments for EXPO will be equipped with combined clothes washing and drying machines.
Thermal hot plates with two or four burners, inbuilt ovens, exhaust hoods, refrigerators and inbuilt dishwashing machines are planned for the kitchens.
The TV sets are planned with carriers to be mounted on walls and with a diagonal of a maximum of 55 inches.
Also, all kitchens should have a full set of dishes for basic food preparation, cutlery, kitchen textile and all the accompanying small inventory for the needs of preparing food inside the kitchen, as well as waste baskets.
In bathrooms as well, all the bathroom textile (towels, floor mats) and small home devices, like hairdryers, should be planned.
For all bedrooms, bed sheets, pillows, blankets and carpets will be procured.
Finally, small inventory for waste disposal (such as cigarette butts) should be planned on the balconies.
The tender is open until November 26, and other details (in Serbian) can be found HERE.
According to the tender, the apartments will be used for the needs of the participants in the specialized exhibition EXPO 2027, but after that, they should be put up for sale.
The president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, who visited the EXPO construction site in late October, said that the construction of the 1,500 apartments was “progressing at a great speed”, and earlier, he announced that “security workers and scientists” would live in them.
