Construction of Factory of German Company PWO in Cacak to Begin in May
It operates in the sector of the metalworking industry and owns facilities for the production of components for the automotive industry in Germany and the Czech Republic, and it will be located in the industrial zone in Preljina. According to the mayor of Cacak, in the first phase, this factory will employ 300 workers.
– Nine engineers from that company already work in Cacak. This is excellent news for our city. The contract will specify that, in the final phase, on 60,000 square meters of production space, on an area of 11 hectares, up to 800 workers are to be employed. An even better news is that, of those 800 workers, around 80% will be highly educated. For two and a half years, we have been negotiating with this company, and primarily thanks to the good economic parameters of this factory, which entails permanent contracts with the most famous world brands. Thanks to our workforce from the Faculty of Technical Sciences, but also the secondary schools in the city, primarily from the Technical Vocational School and the Mechanical and Traffic Engineering Vocational School, they have chosen Cacak – Todorovic said.
Let us remind that the head of Cacak recently stated that that would be the last investment to arrive to the city.
