Austrian Company TGRS Planning Another Factory in Bela Palanka – Jobs for up to 300 Workers

The local self-government in Bela Palanka is negotiating with the company TGRS about the opening of another factory in an industrial zone in that place.

– In the past three years, we have been working intensively on bringing the investor, and we have already had negotiations with TGRS, which operates successfully in Bela Palanka. We have made concrete agreements and the offers will be considered by the New Year, and we hope to finalize the negotiations next year – said the president of the Temporary Organ of the Municipality of Bela Palanka, Goran Miljkovic, as announced on the municipal website.

While visiting the industrial zones Murica 1 and Murica 2, he added that the idea was for TGRS to buy land in the industrial zone Murica 1 and to build another factory there which would employ 250-300 new workers.

In the meantime, according to Miljkovic, some other European companies have contacted them as well, which want to build their facilities in this municipality.

– The industrial zone Murica 2 spreads on 4.5 hectares and the detailed regulation plan for it has been prepared, and the project of infrastructural equipping is in progress. If there is enough money for that purpose in the budget, in the next two years, we will start buying out land in this zone as well, in order to have another 4.5 hectares ready for bringing new investors – said Miljkovic.

The Austrian TGM Services, headquartered in Schladming, founded the daughter company TGRS in Palanka. They produce steering wheels for cars.
