Robots are arriving on domestic fields - Slopehelper presented in vineyards near Velika Plana

In the village of Krnjevo near Velika Plana, in the vineyards of the Radovanović winery, an agricultural robot was presented that reduces the need for manpower, while at the same time protecting the environment because it does not use conventional fuel, but works on electric power. With a total of 15 operations, it completes the entire agricultural cycle in orchards and vineyards.

Slopehelper is an autonomous electric robot for working in vineyards and orchards. The robot completes the entire agricultural cycle on the plots with a total of 15 operations, and the entire work can be monitored via cameras on the device itself or the application.

- This is essentially the present, not the future, and what we want to achieve with this robot is complete autonomy of work without the direct influence of the workforce, where this device can work at night, in the fog, and in the rain completely autonomously. There are no hydraulics in it at all, it is an electro-mechanical device - says Igor Kordik from the Pek automotive company.

- We live in such a time where the emphasis is on reducing the emission of carbon dioxide and those gases that pollute the planet, and there are fewer and fewer fossil fuels, those reserves are running out and humanity must turn to other solutions, and they certainly will not turn back by applying primitive solutions - points out Milan Pršić from the company Agrouniverzal.

In this way, fruit growers and winegrowers are offered a solution to the problem of labor shortage.

- We are still resisting this because in our vineyard there are people who work here from the village, but certainly my opinion and the opinion of my colleagues is that it is really more and more difficult to find workers in Serbia when it comes to agriculture - claims Tijana Radovanović from the Radovanović winery.

The application of the latest technologies in agriculture facilitates production and at the same time protects the environment in the very place where food and basic foodstuffs are produced.
