Works of the world's best photo-reporters in Novi Sad

Citizens of Novi Sad and their guests will be able to see pictures taken by the world's most important photo-reporters on the topic of migration, starting from February 19 on Trg Slobode, thanks to the exhibition "(UN) RESIDENTS - Migrant stories in the 21st century from the World Press Photo Archive". Its world premiere will be in Novi Sad, within the program arc titled "Migration".

- The exhibition will feature 58 photo reports by the most important photographers, such as Australian Warren Richardson, winner of the "World Press Photo of the Year 2016" award, through the poetic vision of the dreams of African migrants in Italy by Alisa Martinova, to impressive photos of a large group of migrants traveling in a tiny boat by Massimo Sestini - the site novisad2022.rs reports.

The exhibition will last until March 20, and is prepared in cooperation with the World Press Photo Foundation from Amsterdam, which provided material from their rich archive, created in the period after 2000.

The day after the opening, on February 20, an expert-guided tour of the exhibition will be organized in two terms - from 11 am and 6 pm. The guest curator from the Netherlands, Babet Warendorf, will lead the walk through the exhibition.

This exhibition represents a special program of the World Press Photo Foundation, specifically prepared and designed for the project "Novi Sad - European Capital of Culture". The exhibition was set up by the Multimedia Center Led Art from Novi Sad.
