The minister of finance of Serbia, Sinisa Mali, stated today that 71% of the recommendations from the first program of the Government of Serbia for the suppression of shadow economy, prepared in 2015, had been realized and invited everybody to join, until February 28, the public discussion about the preparation of a second program for the suppression of shadow economy in Serbia until 2025.

– Until February 28, the Program for the Suppression of Shadow Economy Until 2025 will be up for a public discussion, after which it will be adopted – Mali said at an expanded session of the Coordination Body for the Suppression of Shadow Economy and added that the contents of the new program had been published on the website of the Ministry of Finance and the eKonsultacije portal.

As he pointed out, at this point, it is already known that it will contain a section pertaining to the completion of the process of eFiscalization and the process of the implementation of eInvoices, and also a section pertaining to the further unburdening of salaries in order to stimulate employment.

– The aim is to further improve the operations of the Tax Administration by implementing new software and to connect the Customs Administration and the Tax Administration with inspection services, so that their work in the field would be more efficient – Mali said.

He added that there would be efforts toward defining taxation when it comes to flexible forms of employment.

Mali also said that there would be efforts to implement, as much as possible, cashless payment, but also to finally solve the problem of parafiscal charges.
