Loznica-based Confectionery factory Nelly produced 900 tons of various confectioneries last year, 50% more than in 2008.

As people from the factory announced, about 300 tons of products were exported to European market in 2009, and Nelly's products can be found in the markets of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Slovenia, Hungary and Switzerland.

The product portfolio includes five types of pralines, cream banana, three types of chocolate boxes, cooking chocolate, as well as various jelly products.

In addition to the laboratory for control of quality of raw materials and ready-made products, company Nelly also has a design studio and a printing firm, so that it designs and makes packaging for its products.

The factory was put in operation in September 2007, and it now has 101 workers.

It won eight gold medals and cups for the quality of confectioneries at the last year's 76th International Agricultural Fair, which was held between May 9 and 16 in Novi Sad.
