Telekom Srbija gets permit for issuing electronic money

The National Bank of Serbia has issued a permit to Telekom Srbija for the issuing of electronic money. Until now, only iPay See d.o.o. from Belgrade had that permit, as said on the website of Informativni Poslovni Centar.

Let us remind that electronic money is a fully valid alternative to banknotes and coins. It is used for online payments, payments through mobile phones and similar transactions and enables the sale and purchase of goods and services in a short amount of time, from any location.

The Decision was published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia, no. 17/2019, of March 14, 2019.
