The Slovakian MSM Group, which operates as port of the Czechoslovak Group, took over IMK 14. oktobar from Krusevac this October, and the facilities of the bankruptcy debtor in Brus and Razanj which were not part of the arrangement, have now been put up for sale.

The Foundry in Razanj is looking for a new owner for the first time. The movable and immovable property has been estimated at RSD 67.9 million, and as stated, this is nether the minimum acceptable amount nor is it binding in any other way. The bid submission deadline is January 26, when the public opening is to be carried out as well.

One day earlier, it will be known whether anyone is interested in the Factory of Devices, Equipment and Spare Parts in Brus. Its property, which has been estimated at RSD 267.3 million, is being sold for the second time.

Zoran Milosavljevic, who signed the contract on the acquisition of the Krusevac-based company with the Czech company on behalf of the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency in October, says for our portal that there are parties interested in the remaining property of IMK 14. oktobar, but that those who pay the deposit will show that their intentions are more serious.

Let us remind that 14. oktobar became the ownership of SCMG 14. oktobar Beograd, a member of the Czechoslovak Group, in early October. The group thereby became the owner of the majority of the immovable property of IMK 14. oktobar in the location in Krusevac, whereas the facilities in Brus and Razanj were not part of the arrangement.

The former giant was sold at the fifth attempt. The new owner offered RSD 485 million for IMK 14. oktobar, which is ten times less that the estimated value, and, as announced, the Czech company is to start the production upon receiving the working permit.

The former Krusevac giant used to produce heavy mechanization, excavators and caterpillar tractors, as well as tank components. The new owner, as the media reported, has taken over all the contracts IMK 14. oktobar had in the arms industry, and their ambition is to contract new, considerably bigger, jobs in this field. Also, there have been announcements that the Czech company might start producing Tatra and Avia trucks in Krusevac, brands belonging to companies also owned by the Czechoslovak Group.
