Manufacturer of car parts "Fritech" obtained ISO 9001 certificate - possible cooperation with company "Fiat"

- Company "Fritech" from Prokuplje has obtained the offer for business cooperation from Italian "Fiat" - said the CEO of that company, Borivoje Paunović.

- "Fritech", which obtained quality certificate ISO 9001 on May 28, 2008, is the only company in Serbia that produces asbestos-free brake covers for automobile industry - said he to the press on the occasion of awarding of that certificate.

Paunović pointed out that "Fritech" was the only supplier of those parts for factory "Zastava automobili" in Kragujevac.

- In order for "Fritech" to sign the contract on cooperation with "Fiat" corporation, it needs to introduce standard TS 16949, which is necessary for production in automobile industry - said he and expressed his expectation that "Fritech" will manage to do that prior to autumn 2008.

He poined out that, if ‘Fritech’ became official partner of FIAT, production would be increased from current 220,000 to 1.5m pieces of disc brakes on anual basis.

He added that that company had 8 workers and that that number would be increased to 20, and he also announced that the factory would start producing parts for railways and hydroelectric power plants.
