Conferences, events, exhibits – Special Edition Newsletter Congress Tourism and Business Travel arriving on March 7

Ten years ago, Serbia practically didn't exist on the international congress tourism maps, whereas it has been one of the top 50 world destinations for several years now. The importance of this branch of tourism is shown by the fact that a single international gathering of around 1,000 delegates generates around EUR 1 million of revenues for the destination.

On the other hand, congresses, exhibits and conferences are an opportunity to exchange knowledge, information and contacts and a chance for new business arrangements and better sales.

The said topics will be in the focus of the newsletter Congress Tourism and Business Travel – Seize the Opportunity, which will be published on March 7.

The Special Edition Newsletter will show what the congress capacities in Serbia are, what the hotel offer is like, what the region has to offer to business tourists...

You will be able to read in the newsletter about the perspective of exhibits, how new technologies influence event organization, as well as what the state's plans are for enhancing business tourism. We will talk about this with representatives of the Ministry of Tourism, tourist organizations of Serbia and Belgrade, tourist workers from the region and professors at the Faculty of Economics.

Zivorad Vasic, the director of the Crowne Plaza hotel, will talk about business tourism, congress industry and hotel business in Serbia and the region. We will talk to a representative of Hunguest Hotels about their offer, as well as the business tourism in Hungary.

The translation industry will be in focus as well. Worldwide Translations will be discussing this topic, and representatives of MK Group and No Limit Production, as well as the Belgrade Art Hotel, the Constantine the Great hotel, the Hyatt Hotel and others will present their offer and the perspective of the development of business tourism.
