In the summer, Serbia to get center for transfer of technologies

In the summer, Serbia will get the Center for technology transfer where entrepreneurs-innovators will be able to ask for help and grants, it was said today at the conference on innovations.

The objective of the center is to connect economy with education so that entrepreneurs would be supported to develop their business, it was said at the meeting and outlined that the Center will be funded from EU IPA 2013, and is administered by the World Bank.

EU decided to fund this project since one previous innovative project showed as successful but this time the focus is not on private sector but state-owned research institutes , representative of the World Bank, said at the "From waste to taste" conference, held at the FEFA Faculty.



He reminded the first project started in 2011. It was supported with six million euros from IPA funds for 2011 and 55 grants were distributed.

The dean of FEFA Ana Trbovic outlined the objective of the conference is to stress out that economic cycle does not end with waste but it is a circle process.
